Dr Michael Collin

MBBS (hons) FRACS (paed)

Dr Collin provides consultations and surgery for common paediatric surgical conditions, including general abdominal, inguinoscrotal and urology surgery, with an interest in laparoscopic and advanced surgical techniques.

After training in paediatric surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Collin completed a fellowship position at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in paediatric liver transplant surgery before taking up a consultant surgeon position at that hospital. Dr Collin has brought this experience back to his hometown in Perth, Western Australia.

Dr Collin is committed to medical education and is currently the supervisor of training for paediatric surgery in Western Australia. Dr Collin has been recognised for his educational contributions, including the top trainer award, voted by Australian and New Zealand paediatric surgical trainees, which acknowledges his dedication to mentoring and training the next generation of surgeons.
