Education Programs

The education programs offered by our Training & Development team are comprehensive and aim to provide a range of learning opportunities. These include IV cannulation and venepuncture, intermediate and advanced life support programs, diabetes study days and cardiac courses.

The Training & Development team facilitates many courses in the simulation venue providing many multi-professional learning opportunities.

Training & Development also offers selective learning opportunities to the nursing and medical staff working within the wider health community.

Joondalup Health Campus also actively supports employees in attending educational opportunities that are not provided on-site via access to study leave and financial support. Participation in a variety of learning opportunities made possible by the provision of external study support is an important aspect of enhancing the knowledge and skills of all staff. This focus on continual education ensures knowledge and implementation of best practice which ultimately leads to improved patient outcomes.
