Palliative Care

The Palliative Care team at Joondalup Health Campus provides comprehensive care to patients with a life limiting illness and their families. We have a dedicated multidisciplinary team consisting of specialist palliative care doctors, a palliative care clinical nurse specialist and palliative care clinical nurses. We work closely with social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and the Pastoral Care team.

Services Provided:

Our team can assist with symptom management, advanced care planning and end-of-life care.

We have strong links to the inpatient Palliative Care Unit at Glengarry Private Hospital and to external palliative care teams in other hospitals, community based palliative care services, acute pain services, oncology, psychiatry and various other networks involved in palliative care around Western Australia.

Hours of operation:

Our Palliative Care team operates Monday – Friday 0800 – 1600.

A specialist doctor is also available on-call 24/7, to provide phone advice to doctors and nurses, regarding patients who are currently located within the hospital.
