Dr Kathriarachchi is a Infectious diseases physician and General physician. Dr Kathriarachchi has interests in the management of all adult infectious diseases including but not limited to bone and joint infections, cellulitis, foot ulcers, TB, PUO, respiratory infections and STIs. She is also able to facilitate home administered IV antibiotics via the HITH service (Hospital In The Home)

Dr Kathriarchchi has a position at both Joondalup Private Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus (Public) and consults from her rooms in Joondalup

Background & Training:

Dr Kathriarchchi completed her MBBS with honours from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2004 with distinctions in Microbiology and Parasitology. After working in Sri Lanka for 3 years as a RMO she migrated to Perth, Australia in 2009. She completed the basic physicians training at Fremantle hospital in 2013 followed by dual training in infectious diseases and general medicine with training at SCGH, FSH and Canberra hospital. She was dmitted to the FRACP in 2019 and since then has been working at JHC.
