How to refer:
- All patients must be referred by either a general practitioner or specialist;
- Referrals are to be addressed to: Joondalup Health Campus Gynaecology Clinic
- Referrals to be emailed to GynaeOutpatient.JHC@ramsayhealth.com.au or faxed to 08 9400 9955.
- Referrals will be triaged according to urgency of need. To assist in this assessment, please include as much detail about the patient history in the referral as possible
- Please arrange for the patient to have blood tests and if necessary, scans prior to referring.
Costs of clinic appointment:
- Patients are charged $210 for an initial consultation and any procedure conducted at the time will attract an additional fee. A review consultation and some post-operative appointments are charged at $110. Patients with a valid Medicare card will be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate.
- Patients residing in the City of Joondalup or City of Wanneroo who require a surgical procedure can elect to be admitted as a public patient at Joondalup Health Campus. On this basis, there will be no out of pocket expenses for any operative procedures.
What is required for appointment:
- Patient will need to bring any relevant films or test results to their appointment
- Patient to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to appointment time
