Work starts on $317million Joondalup Health Campus expansion

The $317million expansion of Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) is now under way after Health Minister Kim Hames and Ramsay Health Care chairman Paul Ramsay performed the ceremonial turning of the sod today.

On Wednesday 22 April, 2009 Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) officially opened its expanded $12m mental health facility, kicking off the hospital’s $320m redevelopment.

Joondalup Health Campus in Perth, Western Australia will soon become double the size thanks to the multi-million dollar redevelopment, which was confirmed on hospital grounds by WA Health Minister Dr Kim Hames on Wednesday 7 January 2009.
JHC is officially a non smoking campus

As of January 1 2009 Joondalup Health Campus is following the State Governments lead by prohibiting smoking at the hospital and within the boundaries of its grounds.

On Friday 7 November the Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) community and distinguished guests enjoyed fine wine and gourmet food at the hospital’s 10 year anniversary bash. The event was held in an exquisitely decorated marquee set up in Neil Hawkins Park.
