For Doctors: For Junior Doctors
For Junior Doctors
Joondalup Health Campus employs over 140 junior doctors throughout the hospital, from interns to senior registrars. The majority of our doctors in training are employed directly by Joondalup Health Campus. However, many of our junior doctors come to Joondalup on rotation from Perth's tertiary hospitals – Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital.
We offer excellent teaching in a friendly, fast-paced general hospital environment. Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) is one of the few hospitals in Perth where you can fulfil all your hospital terms for GP training in your PGY2 year. We offer terms in:
- Emergency Medicine (including Paediatrics)
- General Medicine
- Intensive Care Medicine
- Rehabilitation and Aged Care
- Palliative Care
- Respiratory Medicine
- Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery
Joondalup also offers accredited specialist training positions in the disciplines of general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics, paediatrics, emergency medicine, general medicine, psychiatry, anaesthesia and intensive care.
