JHC received an ‘A+’ for morale and culture in the AMA (WA) Doctors-in- Training Hospital Health Check. It is the third year running the hospital has received an ‘A’ grade.
Theatres enrolled nurse Susan Dugay was named winner of the Excellence in Enrolled Nursing category at the 2017 WA Nursing & Midwifery Excellence Awards.
Graduate Coordinator Julie Jackson and Registered Nurse Graduate Facilitator Maggie Husain won Ramsay Health Care’s HESTA Innovation in Education Award for the success of a program they developed which helps enrolled nurses transition to registered nursing.

Premier Mark McGowan and CEO Ramsay Australia Danny Sims visited JHC on 24 June to co-sign a Statement of Intent paving the way for the next major expansion of the hospital.
