Birth numBerS
JHc delivered 3,782 babies in 2016-17 – a decrease of 12% on births overall
compared to the previous year.
Although there was a year-on-year decrease in births, there has still been a 38% increase on births over the past five years.
During the 2014-15 and 2015-16 years JHC delivered additional babies as the Midland Health Campus had not opened at that point.

There was a decrease in the number of patients attending our After-hours GP clinic in 2016-17 with 13,488 patients attending the clinic.
