Dr Claxton is a Specialist Physician in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine and has a full time appointment at Joondalup Health Campus for public patients and treats private patients at Joondalup Private Hospital.
Background & Training:
Dr Scott Claxton completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Tasmania and his advanced training in respiratory medicine in Perth, at both Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.Since receiving his FRACP in 2003, Dr Claxton has worked at Joondalup Health Campus as a consultant respiratory physician, doing a combination of clinic and hospital-based work. Dr Claxton's work is equally divided between sleep disorders and general lung diseases, including asthma, pneumonia, smoking related lung disease and lung cancer.
